The International School of Azerbaijan, Baku

As part of a comprehensive renovation of its 20-year-old campus, The International School of Azerbaijan reimagined its traditional corridor-classroom layout into a dynamic learning community model, aligning with its mission to engage, empower, and inspire.

The redesign introduces a clear spatial axis and central heart, seamlessly integrating the entry, library, and café to create a strong sense of identity and connection. Enhanced indoor-outdoor transitions, covered walkways, and intuitive circulation paths unify the campus and improve accessibility.

Inside, formerly closed spaces have been opened up to foster collaborative, flexible learning environments, supporting peer interaction, independent study, and small-group instruction. Double-height corridors now host reading and learning lofts, maximizing space and natural light. The transformation enhances visibility, ventilation, and well-being, delivering a healthier and more inspiring place to learn.

You are a key to Pathways.

“You are a key to Pathways. It was you who gave Pathways its identity. Your contribution and help can never fade. You are, and shall always be, a very active member of the ‘think-tank’ of the school. We fully acknowledge and greatly appreciate your association and contributions at all stages. Believe me, you have built a long list here of your followers and admirers.
