NSBM University, Srilanka
The National School of Business Management (NSBM), established by the Government of Sri Lanka under NIBM, is a pioneering new-town-style campus offering world-class degree and certificate programs. Appointed as the Educational Facility Planner and Co-design Architect, EDI helped shape this landmark 26-acre campus in Colombo, with a built-up area of 950,000 sq. ft.
The master plan is organized into four key zones:
- Public Zone: A vibrant Business Park with an urban square, auditorium, exhibition and convention centers, commercial spaces, and innovation hubs.
- Semi-Public Zone: A connective bridge housing administration, a central library, dining, and recreation.
- Semi-Private Zone: Academic clusters for faculties, lecture halls, and laboratories.
- Private Zone: Residential quarters for students and staff.
NSBM Green University Town is recognized as South Asia’s first green university, earning the prestigious BCA Green Mark Gold rating. It stands as a model for sustainable campus design, promoting innovation, environmental stewardship, and excellence in higher education.
